Synopsis

The company took part in the tender for the construction of the first high-speed train which goes from Mexico City to Querétaro and won it in conjunction with other companies. The project has a cost of US $3,75 billion. Even though, the tender was cancelled due to several journalistic investigations pointing at interest’s conflict between Peña Nieto´s administration and one of the Mexican companies that took part in the tender: Constructora Teya, which is one of the filial companies of Higa group,being this one property of the entrepreneur Juan Armando Hinojosa. CRCC sued the Mexican government for the expenses generated by the time the company expended in the tender, under the article 70 of the public works and services related to the aforementioned.
